My morning began around 5 am and I couldn't just fall asleep anymore. This morning the girls and I had to go to Clés solfège class earlier because she was having an evaluation at 9 am. We have been training the music theory a lot and yesterday evening Céline and Clé did a lot of repetition. Alice had to take a quick bath in the morning cause she had peed in her bed and while Anthony still was at home, she didn't want me to help her with anything, only daddy could.
Clé was a bit nervous for her exam. Alice and I stayed waiting outside the classroom and alreday in five minutes Clé had finished. Today there was no normal solfège class and we could straight go home. Today we had a lot of time in the morning and I decided that we could do something special with the girls, so i suggested pâte à sel (trolldeg) and both girls totally agreed.
We did the dough, which is very simple, all together and then it was time to start forming figures with only the imagination as limit.
Pàte à sel
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water
While forming, use more flour to avoid that the paste sticks. Put in the oven in 160 *C until they get hard.
We had fun but afterwards I had a lot to clean. Luckily the girls are two so they could amuse themselves while I was cleaning. Suddenly i heard "klock klock klock...", the sound of approaching high heels and got to watch an surprise model show.
Soon Mamou, Valé, Théo and Martin came and I had just finished the cleaning of the kitchen. After lunch I skyped with Sabbe, which was really a long time since the last time. In a sudden Miriam called me and told me she doesn't have classes in the afternoon so then I went to Lille to meet up with her. We first went together to MacDonalds to get us a McFlurry and have a place to sit and chat.
The rest of the afternoon we spent just walking around in shops, checking out the sales and not actually looking for anything special. It was really chill. I did something I haven't ever done before. I bought myself a lipstick! A bright red one! I got the idea spontaneously out of nothing that I just needed a red lipstick and Miriam was very encouraging and helped me to find a fitting one. I'm such an looser when make up is concerned. We went through a few make up shops and found finally a pretty good and cheap one close to the city center. Miriam also bought herself a lipstick, an almost black but very cool one. I feel that France has made me more sophisticated and that this lipstick is a step to getting a woman.
We spent a lot of time just walking around in shops in Euralille. Miriam bought herself a bag and a necklace and then we went via subway and soon to meet up for Winesday.
The only one, except Miriam and me, who also could come tonight was Lindsay. We waited for her at Gare Lille Flandres and then we went together to a pub, After Hours, at Rue Solferino. It's an Irish Pub and they had Happy Hour. The place was very popular, pretty noisy but cozy and had a good offering of drinks and real meals. We had a great time and we'll definetively come back some time.
We all three went home by the same, last, bus and we have a lot of plans about places and restaurants we want to visit together. It's very nice to have some good friends living a bit closer to my place.
