19.3 - Henna with Tia

My plan was actually to sleep in a bit in the morning but I just couldn't. Martin was ill and stayed at home today too. Céline took the advantage of having the right to take off when one of her children is ill so she was off the whole day. In the morning she also had a sore throat and felt a bit tired, so it wasn't probably that bad to stay at home. But this meant that I was off the whole day. I could prepare myself a bit for my exam tomorrow and just do something totally different.

I scratched off all the dry henna from my skin and the outcome wasn't that bad at all. I think it's unbelievable that you can do something like this without any chemicals or colours. The Henna I used is 100% natural.

When I went downstairs, Martin was in the livingroom in front of the tv and Céline was still in her bedroom. Well, I had breakfast alone, cleaned in the kitchen and read some news. Soon Madame Cathry came to do the weekly cleaning. The morning was really calm.

For the day I went to Tia. The easiest way to get to her place is by bike. I had promised her to do her some Henna as a "birthday gift" but wasn't really sure about my skills. Eric, Tias host dad, was working  distance from home but we just stayed in Tias room and in the kitchen on our food breaks.

Henna takes a lot of time but is very fun to make. We just chatted at the same time. I made Tia her Henna and she seemed very happy about it. She also made me an anchor in my neck and some figures on my hand. We had fun!
Céline and Martin were both at home when I came and Céline went soon to take home the girls. We all had the goûter together and I stayed with the kids while Céline went to Martins school, La Croix Blanche, to get his homework. Meanwhile at home we got visit by Martins mate, Paul-Adrien, who came to bring Martins homework. I quickly called Céline to tell her that the homework was already here if they were looking for it at school. Luckily she could get the homework from today because Paul-Adrien had brought the ones from yesterday.

Clé, Alice and I had a lot of fun playing cool youngsters and then I did homework with Clé. She had some excercises where she had to cut pictures in magazines and glue them in her excercise book. We looked through a lot of my Demi and Me Naiset Sport magazines. Céline started cooking and took then care of Alices bath and then I stayed with Clé during her bath. Always in between when I had a calm moment, I tried to read something for the DALF but didn't exactly know anymore what I should have focused on the last day.

Tonight Céline cooked Blanquette, lamb meat with carrots and mushrooms in bechamel sauce. It was surprisingly good! For dessert I made myself a grilled banana.

I went to tell the kids goodnight and decided to go to sleep early to be in form for the exam. In the evening I was a bit nervous for my exam tomorrow and I just felt to speak with someone close so I tried to contact my parents and some friends without great success. Then I remarked that Anton was online on skype and succeeded to contact him. It really calmed me down to talk about this and that with him. Now the best thing to do is just to try to get a proper sleep.
